ZL1 and CTSV Supercharger Belt Length Guide

A guide to the supercharger belt required for your 09-14 Cadillac CTS-V and Camaro ZL1

Below is a list of simple and complex combos, as well the belts and part numbers required All part numbers below will be the Gates Green HD Belt, along with it’s length, pulley ratio, amount of blower OverDrive (O.D), Pulley Ratio (P.R) and Final Blower rpm at 6500 RPM

For any lower diameter pulley combo greater than 9.17″ a Metco Idler relocation bracket is required.

We only recommend the Gates Green line of HD Belts

The stock belt size with stock upper, lower and idlers is 66″

9.17″ Lower – 2.38 Upper – Exceeds Maximum Rated Blower Speed – 3.9 P.R – 48% O.D – 25,000 RPM @ 6500
Belts for 9.55″ 22% Lower Combos ALL 9.55 Combos REQUIRE Idler Relocation Bracket And 50mm Idler (*Edit*) Some customers have reported success without the relocation bracket on the 9.55 setups. We would still recomend the bracket to our customers during install as it is quite tight, even if it does fit.

9.55 Lower – 2.55″ Upper – Stock Idler – 68.5″ – 3.8 P.R – 42% O.D – 24,000RPM @ 6500
(This is the absolute Maximum we would spin this blower, and it is over the 23,000 Rated
Limit of the factory blower) Gates K080685HD

9.55 Lower – 2.55″ Upper – 100mm Idler – customers have reported the Gates K080690HD fits
better on this setup when a 100mm idler is being used.

9.55 Lower – 2.38 Upper – Exceeds Maximum Rated Blower Speed – 4.0 P.R – 54% O.D – 26020 RPM @ 6500

10″ Lower – 2.55″ Upper – Exceeds Maximum Rated Blower Speed – 3.8 P.R – 44% O.D – 24,330 RPM @ 6500

10″ Lower – 2.38″ Upper – Exceeds Maximum Rated Blower Speed – 4.1 P.R – 57% O.D – 26,500 RPM @ 6500

Belts for 10.5″ Lower Combos ALL 10.5″ Combos REQUIRE Idler Relocation Bracket And 50mm Idler

10.5″ Lower – 3.0″ Stock Upper – Stock or 100mm Idler – Relocation bracket with 50mm lower idler. 72.5 belt length.
Gates K080716 for the black belt, add HD to the end (Gates K080716HD) for the green belt.
