The Aim MXG Strada 1.2 Dash Display Standard Icons offers 50% more display area than the 5” MXS display, in a similar dimension. The dash logger has an integrated shift array, configurable multicolor alarms, drag and drop multi page configuration, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, GPS Module, inertial platform, analog and digital inputs, digital outputs, Motorsport connectors, 4 GB of internal memory, 1,000Hz per channel sampling and support for over 1,000 ECU connections.
MXG Strada 1.2 samples data coming from your ECU, the GPS Module, the 9 axis inertial platform (accelerometer, gyro and magnetometer), 8 fully configurable analog inputs, 6 digital inputs, predefined math channels and second CAN. Performance and data acquired can also be incremented adding up to eight expansion modules.
Freely configurable pages
High Contrast TFT Display
Aim MXG Strada 1.2 features a high contrast TFT display: its visual quality is always optimal as its ambient light sensor keeps the back light at the best brightness levels. The dash is of course available also in the “Street Icons” version (fuel, oil, water temp etc.)
Flexible alarms & Custom Street Icons
MXG Strada 1.2 features five configurable RGB alarm LED’s. You choose the conditions, you choose the colours. Select a solid alarm or flashing one – and the flashing frequency, choose to have an accompanying text message, and set the alarm priorities. Select then the street icons you need among the wide list you will find in “Race Studio 3 – Icons Management” and set them up the way you prefer or according with your needs. Any of them is fully configurable and if this shouldn’t be enough, you will be able to upload and set up your own customised icons.
Two Digital Outputs
Camera inputs, also for mirror camera
Two analog camera inputs are available, to swap your display into a mirror camera, through pushbutton command or event management
Integrated shift light array
Choose from a host of advanced multicoloured RGB shift light patterns that can be customised as you like and also for each unique gear when required.
Aim MXG Strada 1.2 Connection Examples
With the CAN Output you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network in order to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
Race Studio 3
With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by MXG Strada 1.2 and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances
MXG Strada 1.2 is the dash logger designed to acquire and display data coming from your ECU, the internal accelerometer and gyro, as well as from the GPS08 Module included in the kit, analog/digital inputs and predefined math channels. Performance and data acquired can also be incremented adding up to eight expansion modules. Its 7″ display makes it perfect for wide cockpits installation.
The GPS08 Module (included in the kit) connected via CAN makes lap time calculation and track position analysis very easy. Each Aim memory stores more than 200 world tracks start/finish line coordinates. As soon the dash/logger is switched on, the GPS08 Module will locate its position, identify track-line coordinates and start immediately sampling lap and split time.
If the track is not included in the database, it is always possible to add the start/finish line coordinates to the MXG Strada 1.2 via PC before going to the track, using the Race Studio 3 – Track Manager software.
An innovative feature is the CAN 2 line, managing data coming from your additional modules (i.e. ABS, traction control, infrared temperature sensors and more) This feature meets the requirements of a growing number of racers, as the use of additional modules is becoming quite common in a number of series.
Internal Accelerometer and Gyro
The internal three-axial accelerometer and the gyroscope provide a very powerful array of information. These force and motion sensors enable you to quantify the dynamic characteristics of your vehicle. Measuring acceleration forces and gyro rates can assist in determining how to improve your vehicle performances.
You immediately get Math Channels values. The dash logger can be configured to display those values (i.e. brake bias, calculated gear) in real time.
